Those of you on my mailing list will know how proud I was of the festive song Lucy Armstrong and I wrote for Glyndebourne Opera, Create Music and Brighton Dome last year, called Christmas Magic. More than 2,000 primary school kids from Sussex stomped their feet, clapped their hands and sang about flying reindeer and the Northern Lights during December 2024, and hundreds more have sung it again this year with Glyndebourne, Milton Keynes Sinfonia and schools all over the country.
