Radio 4 Recordings and Festival Appearances – this summer!

We (that is Matt, Steve and me as Festival of the Spoken Nerd) are recording our first comedy series for BBC Radio 4 next month: “Domestic Science”.

Cue excitement! And sound effects!

The recordings are 10th and 20th May, with an afternoon read-through for a very select audience on Friday 6th May at 3pm. If you can join us at any of those we would love to see some friendly faces there. Tickets for the 6th are available now, but you need to follow our twitter feed and Facebook events to get tickets for the actual 10th May and 20th May recordings.

Quick news update for April, with three things on your tellybox that I’m appearing in soon:

OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE – the new series has already gone out in the US, but UK viewers can watch it on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT 8pm on Discovery UK. There’s plenty of new clips to watch here in the meantime, including the punniest collection of science presenters on the planet.

The new – and now complete! – Elements song on Channel 4 News

In case you missed it (you would only have had to blink a few times) here’s my *new* *updated* version of Tom Lehrer’s “Elements” as seen on Channel 4 News last night. I’m still waiting for the IUPAC to actually name elements 113, 115, 117 and 118 before I can truly finish the song, but let’s call this New Version 1.0 for now.
