Newsletter out today: TV shows, new live dates and a podcast story

in Uncategorized on 07/15/14

Helen ArneyMy latest infrequent-but-interesting newsletter came out today – you can read it here or (even better) sign up to get the next one here.

It has dates and times for some bits of TV work that were filmed about 9 and 12 months ago respectively… a short piece about rollercaster physics for BBC2 Coast, and also 4 episodes of “Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience” for Comedy Central. BBC Radio Pilot for Festival of the Spoken Nerd

in Uncategorized on 04/14/14

The rumours are true… the Spoken Nerds are recording our first pilot for BBC Radio 4 Comedy on 26th April!

Unfortunately (fortunately?) all the tickets for the actual recording were snapped up within 24 hours of the announcement, but we’re doing 2 tryout nights in the week leading up to the big day.

22 April – Canal Cafe Theatre, Warwick Avenue – tickets
24 April – Camden People’s Theatre, Euston Square – tickets

Hope to see lots of London-based people there… and if all goes well and it gets broadcast, make sure you’re on my mailing list and I’ll let you know when you can hear it going out, and on the iPlayer afterwards!… Read the rest
